April i7th.  The Wind W. S. W. blowing fresh cold & overcast and threatening rainy & stormy weather, about 9 I Set out for the burying of old Mr. Meyrick of Bodorgan and was there before i. they buryed about 3. & I gave the Priest 5s. & i to the Clark: The bearers were Mr. Morgan of Henblas, Mr. Griffith of Berw, Mr. Thomas of Coed — Allen, the Dream of Bangor, the Chancellor & My Self; went this night to the Chancellor's to Siambr ar Wnne, and gave the Servants there 2s.
i8th.  The Wind W. & by S. blowing moderate, cloudy & dark weather, cold & raw all this day about ii this morning I set out for Henblas and was there by noon & Staid there this day.
i9th.  The Wind S. W. blowing moderate and not very cold, but cloudy and dark weather all the day; Dined to day at Tre-feilir along with Mr. Morgan & his family, where I gave the Servants 2s.
20th.  The Wind W. & by N. cold and raw weather & generally cloudy and dark, I staid this day likewise at Henblas
2ist.  The Wind W. & by N. blowing fresh and cold all this day likewise about i0 I set out for home where I arrived before 2 without any accident (I praise God for it) haveing given the Servants at Henblas 4s. 6d.
22d.  The Wind N.W. & little of it, yet cold & raw and generally dark and cloudy all this day also. Pd. 3s. 6d. for a watering pot of 3 Gallons
23d.  The Wind N. E. and very little of it, & generally cloudy & dark all this day also, but the Air was moderately warm·
24th.  The Wind N. E. very calm, cloudy & dark weather all this day likewise and made a fine shower this morning of an hour's continuance: This day I first heard the Cuccow this year.
25th.  The Wind N.E. blowing fresh & cold all the morning and generally cloudy & dark: the Evening was mostly Sun Shiny warm & pleasant; Gave to day warning to Rowland Sion of Pant y Gist, & Rowland Owen of Carreg Lefn to part from the Sd. Tenements at Allsts. next.
26th.   ● 12 [this is written vertically in the margin below '26th.' sw]  The Wind E & by N. calm, cloudy & dark weather all the morning and raining till near 9 pretty hard: the Evening was sunshiny & fair and warm·
27th.  The Wind E. blowing fresh, some sun shine, but generally cloudy&dark but dry all the day.
