The Wind E. blowing very fresh & exceeding cold this morning and yet no hoar frost to day nor yesterday, was Sun shiny and very scorching all this day likewise: Paid Mary Jones of G[a sw]redog 36s. 6d. for a Pig (& not very fat neither ) to be killed for Bacon. he gave it up afterwards to the present Ten ant. [this is written in the margin opposite the following paragraph sw] Set this Day to Robert ab Richard LLwyd My Tenement of Carreg Lefn for five years to comence at Allsts. next at ye yearly rent of five & thirty shillings, together with the usuall presents of 2 Pullets at Shrove Tide & 6 Chickens in the Month of May at the latest, and two days reaping . |
