August 20th.  The Wind W. S. W. blowing moderate, Sun shiny , clear & very warm & dry all this day.
2ist.  The Wind S. blowing moderate, Sun shiny & very hot & sultry, yet made some small showers this day also: Paid John – Prichard Samwell i8s. for shooes for Ann & Jane Wright & myself
22d.  The Wind S. in the morning, blowing very moderate, cloudy and dark with some ^small^ showers of rain: the wind came to W. & by N[: sw] in the Evening,was very fair , sun shiny,warm & pleasant: Paid Mrs. Wms. the Mantua maker i0s. 6d. for working for Ann & Jane Wright
23d.  The Wind S. calm, with some sun shine, but generally cloudy weather and dry all this day.
24th.  The Wind S. calm & generally Sun shiny, hot & sultry & dry all this day till 7 in the Evening it made a sharp shower.
25th.  The Wind S. very calm, cloudy & dark weather & raining from soon after 8 in the morning almost incessantly till i0 at night. LLanerchymedd Fair to day proved a pretty good one: Paid Rhys Bentir 2s. 6d. for a quarter of Veal & a small quarter of Mutton.
26th.  The Wind W. blowing very moderate; some sun shine,but gen – erally cloudy & dark yet continued dry all this day; Pd. Wm. Bevan 2s. my people all this week were reaping except fryday in the Evening. 
27th.  The Wind S. blowing moderate, Sun shiny , fair & dry all this day, but made rain in the night .
28th.  The Wind varying all this day from S. in the morning to N.E. before night, was generally cloudy & dark yet dry except one shower in the morning, but rained hard in the night: Paid [I sw]. Ellis Griffith 6s. for labouring work ·
29th.  The Wind N. E. blowing moderate, dark cloudy weather in ye morn –ing; the Wind came to W in the Evening, was Sun shiny & dryed well all this day: Paid 3s. for Leghorn Letters.
30th.  The Wind N. N. E. calm, some sun shine, but generally cloudy & dark but dry all this day.
3ist.  The Wind N.E. very calm, cloudy & dark most part of this day but dry all day: Begun to reap the Wheat this day.
