December 28th.  The Wind S. W. blowing fresh, yet not cold, I take some hicra Piera [white cinnamon sw] to day, as I did – last Sunday. to carry off the remainder of the Mor – –bifick [morbific = causing disease; pathogenic sw] matter, I thank God I find my self now very well recovered & very hearty .
29th.  The Wind S. S. W. blowing high, dark and cloudy; especially in the Evening when it blew a meer storm.

30th.

The Wind W. and blowing moderate & not cold, and continued so all day, my people are these days fencing about the grounds and repairing old rotten hedges.

31st.  The Wind S. blowing fresh, with a dirty mizling rain all the morning ;the Evening dry, but cloudy and dark.
Janr. ist.  The Wind S. W. blowing fresh, cloudy & dark, in the morning, & continued so all day without rain . Gave Roger the Sexton 2s. 6d. New year's Gift.
2d.  The Wind S. S. W. blowing fresh, with a smart mizling rain all the morning, the Evening dry, yet cloudy & dark.
3d. The Wind W. blowing fresh, sun shiny & clear, it made sometime before day this morning very great rains great signs of it appearing this morning; about 3 in the Evening it made a great shower of Sleet which brought the wind to N. W. and it blew high & storm all night.
4th.  The Wind at 3 in the morning N.W. & blowing a meer storm, sometime before day it came to S.W. & rained allye morning ; the Evening dry, but cloudy & dark.
