October 31st.  The Wind E. blowing high & very cold, dark & cloudy & made some rain on the fall of night. did not stir this day out of the house, but past the Evening as before at Cards.
Novr. 1st.  The Wind E & by N. very stormy & cold in the Morning, the Evening milder & fairer, set out for home after dinner about 4 & was at home by 6 . gave ye Servants of that house 2s.
2d.  The Wind E. & moderately warm & calm in the Morning & a fine Sun-shine the Evening colder & the wind higher ye Cattle fair to day at LLanerchmedd much slower than before. Sold 2 Cows there for 7L. i5s.
3d. The Wind E. & by N. and raining very hard before Sun rise, made a fair, dry day afterwards, and a very fine night . my people are this day carrying Rib timber or cleder to Gaerwen, & straw.

The Wind E. & by N. very calm, close & cloudy weather all day long, a very great congregation to day at LLanfechell Church notwithstanding LLanrhwydrys wakes.

5th.  The Wind  E. N. E. dark & cloudy, I did this day enter on my 49th. year of my Age (which may [there is what looks like an apostrophe over the 'm' sw] the great & Mercifull God gave me his Grace & health to go thro with ) set out to day for Henblas & Bodorgan to Visit those Gentlemen. pd. into the hands of Mr. Prichard of Leverpool 32s. to pay Mr. Lewis Morris of Holy - head for Candles he bought for me  . This day George Warmingham came home here to his service . came to Henblas about 3 in the Evening much fatigued & cold, haveing met with very bad roads & great showers of Snow; had an account here that Mr. Meyrick was gone for London since– last Saturday. 
6th.  The Wind N. blowing very cold all day, diverted my Self in walk- -ing with Cos. Morgan in the fields Morgan, & spent the Evening by a — good fire .
7th.  The Wind N.N.E. very cold, attended with frequent showers of cold Sleet & rain most part of the day, went to visit Mr. Tho. Evans of Tre'r go who has been confined to his house these 3 years occasioned at first by an Ulcer in the bladder &c..
