November 27th.  The Wind W. calm, cloudy & overcast, & cold raw weather, but dry all day: A small Fair for Cattle to day at LLanfechell, yet there was a good many bought & pretty good rates: Pd. 3L. 5s. for a S[t sw]rapper or fallow Cow I– bought there to day; & Sold a Cow to a Butcher for 3L. i5s. pd. is. 6d. for 6 bull rush pannels, 4d. for fish & 1d.2/1 for Shirt buttons & pd. Thomas the driver 8s. being the remainder of his Sumer's [there is a line over the 'm' sw]
28th.  The Wind N.W. very calm, generally cloudy & overcast, yet made no rain all day: Paid Jonet the Derry Maid 24s. being her Sumer's [there is a line over the 'm' sw] wages paid also 3s. for two hundred Apples.
29th.  The Wind N.E. pretty calm, but blowing a cold sharp Air, & yet sun shiny generally all day, and drying well.
30th.  The Wind E. N. E. blowing very moderate, but very cold, and generally cloudy & dark weather, yet drying well day : Pd. 5s. 3d. for a hat for Ann Wright, & 3s. 2d. for Candle Wick . being in all 8s. 5d.
Decr. ist.  The Wind E . cold & dry, but not high and generally Sun shiny fair and pleasant all day: paid 2s. 6d. for a Side of Mutton.
2d.  The Wind N.E· and very moderate, cloudy & dark generally all day, My people all this week ( except Monday the Fair day) at the New hedge in Bodelwyn as before: This Day I executed a New Mortgage to my Sister Catherine Bulkeley for 550 pound instead of that for 700 pound that I had executed formerly to her & my Sister Edwards I having discharged 150 pound of the Principal money due upon my Sister Edwards 400, and the other 250 pound being left by her to my Sister Catherine Bulkeley together with her own 300 pound is the 550 pound secured to her by this Mortgage executed this day: Paid Mr. Wm. Prichd. for the use of Mr. Robert Carreg trustee to my Sister Edwards Deed (wherin she had left the severall gifts therein mentioned) I paid him I say 73 pounds 6s. 8d. & paid him for drawing the Deeds & his Journey here to see them executed 5pounds 14s. I likewise gave my Sister Catherine Bulkley my note for 62 pound 10s. beingInterest for the 250 pound left her by my Sister Edwards since her death which was in November 1747.
3d.  The Wind N.E. very calm, cloudy and overcast, yet the Air was keen, sharp and very cold all day, but towards the night it grew more mild & the Night was very calm, Paid 6d. for Herrings & id. for Whiteings·
