| 28th. The Wind S. S. W. blowing very fresh, cloudy dark weather & the Air foggy & moist & bordering upon rain tho it made but little of it to day: To Day My labourers finish'd opening the cross ditches in Bodelwyn meadows which had not been opened these 35 years · |
| 29th. The Wind S. W. very calm, dark & cloudy weather all day but dry in the morning & till noon, when it begun to rain, & from that time till 9 at night & most of that time very hard. Paid Owen Roberts 5s. of his last winter's wages, pd. 3L. 9s. for a Cow & Calf, pd. 5L. i0s. 6d. for 4 peggets & half of Barley Pd. for 20 load of straw iis. 8d. pd. for re^a^ping hooks 6s.– & Pd. for Sand–rush ropes is. 9d. at 6d. a hundred fathom. |
| 30th. The Wind all the morning at W. came early in ye Evening to S.W. blew pretty fresh &was generally Sunshiny& dry'd well all this day: My people begun to Reap to day at Cae' Sgubor Goydan, & when they have done that & the Rye,Ishall have no reaping afterwards this fortnight. |
