April 6th.  The Wind S.W. dark and cloudy, and very cold in the morning, set out from LLysdulas at 7. came to Beaumares by 10. Went to Court about one, but for want of the foreman's attending, The Grand Jury was not sworn in ye Morning Court; Went to the Evening Court at 5 when the following persons were sworn of the Grand Jury. 7th.  The Wind S.S.W. blowing fresh, and a mizling rain frequen -tly most part of the day, buisness done at the Grand Jury room to day was finding 3 Bills of Indictment against Fellons; pd. at my Lodging for me & my man 4s. 6d.
8th.  The Wind S.S.W. calm, dark & cloudy, haveing rained very hard some hours before day; made a very fair warm Evening pass'd 2 bills of Indictment against the fellows that stole ye Sails & Riggin of the Ship at LLanvaelog, gave 6d. for a poor relation at Beaumares School, pd. for me & my man 4s. 6d.
