February iith.  The Wind S. and after a fine, calm Moon shiny light Night, so early in the morning as 4 a clock it blew high & stormy and rained very hard, both which Wind and rain con – -tinued without intermission till near i in the Evening; then it left off raining but the Wind continued very high all the Evening and night·
12th.  The Wind S. blowing fresh, cloudy, dark & misty weather with a very moist Air, but without actuall raining till 8 at night when it made a very heavy shower, and was calm all the night, but cloudy– and dark.
13th.  The Wind S. blowing moderate; the Air warm and generally cloudy and dark,.but did not rain all this day nor night. but continued dark and cloudy all night and blew fresh. 
14th.  The Wind W. & by S. blowing very moderate & warm, cloudy &dark all the morning with some mizling rain ; The Evening Sun Shiny & fair:  A pretty full Fair to day at LLanfechell for, Hats, shoes cloath &c . Paid John I[? sw]fan 4 pounds ten Shillings in full of his year's wages to last Candlemas.
15th.  The Wind S. blowing fresh and Sun shiny generally all this day: the night calm & fair and very light from the Aurora Borealis that spread very far.
16th.  The Wind generally S. but was a short while at W. blowing very moderate, sun Shiny, warm, fair & pleasant all day: No Butcher's meat at all in LLanfechell Market, neither has there been any — since Christmas but once.
17th.  The Wind S. very moderate and warm, cloudy in the morning, but the Evening Sun Shiny, fair & pleasant: My Gardiner all this week employed in planting Trees, and these 3 last days had 3 people with him ^two^one days & one the other day in removeing large Sycamor[e sw] [the end of the word is possibly lost sw] Trees, some 24 feet high & all of them above 20 foot: they grew — before within Cae Caled behind the fir Walk, and incomoding – Elm Trees that grew between them, made me remove them to Cae'r Penrhyn.
18th.  The Wind S. blowing fresh, and raining almost all day( except from 12 to 2 in the Evening it was a kind of remission ) and I believeall, or most part of the night: The Priest preached on Isaiah Chap: 59th— and the latter part of the 8th. verse: pd. 3d. for Tobbaco[, sw] 2[d sw]
