November 8th.  The Wind E. very calm with some frost & a great hoar frost this morning ; the day was generally clear & sun Shiny, & the night very starry calm, and a hoar frost. 
9th.  The Wind N. E. not high, yet exceeding cold & raw weather, cloudy & dark all day, but made no rain, pd. 4s. for butcher's meat I bought this day & this day Se'night.
10th.  The Wind N.E. calm, Sun Shiny & fair almost all day,haveing freezed last night; and a very thick hoar frost this morning - went about 10 to LLanerchymedd to prove my Mother's Will,and take out administration before the Bishop's Chancellor the expence of which 1L. 9s. and pd. 6d. at my lodging: was at home before 5.
iith.  The Wind N. W. and blowing very moderate, the day generally was Sun shiny , yet it was very cold & raw: pd. 5d. for herrings
12th.  The Wind N. & by E. calm, cloudy and dark weather all day and not very cold, & made no rain: My Gardiner has been these 4 last days planting Elms in Cae ’r âllt ddu. & fenceing about them – with thorns; cropped & pruned other Elms & Beech in Bodelwyn and relieved them & other trees that were incomoded by Briers· gave Rowland Sion of Pant y Gist 2s. 6d. for his care in looking after myTrees planted with him ·
13th.  The Wind W. & by N. calm, cloudy & dark almost all day, but not cold, made some rain in the Evening & at the fall of night; pd. 6d. for bread & 6d. for a neat's Tongue .
14th.  The Wind W. & by N. calm, cloudy dark weather all day,& not cold, made a little mizling rain about 9 at night:
15th.  The Wind W. & by N. calm and cloudy dark weather, cold & raw, but was dry all day; made a pretty good Fair to day at LLanfechell but not near so good as the last Fair before it: pd. 12s. 3d. for Beef.
16th.  The Wind W. calm, cloudy and dark weather all day, with severall small showers of small rain, and the Air warm : pd. is. [1/- sw] for Oysters.
17th.  The Wind N. & by E. calm, sun shiny & fair, but theAir was cold, & a hoar frost this morning, and continued fair & pleasant all day.
