Novr. 17th.  The Wind W. & by N. blowing moderate, but cold & dry all day: pd. John ifan the Gardiner 53s. of this year's wages Pd. Ann Mark 8˙s. the remainder of her Sumer's [there is a wavy line above the 'm' sw] wages, & pd. Rhys Bentir 2s. for a Side of Mutton,& to Owen Roberts is. [1/- sw] for Oysters.
i8th.  The Wind W. blowing fresh & cold all day & made a sharp – shower of hail in the night.
i9th.  The Wind W. blowing high & very cold, was generally Sun- shiny and dry all this day·
20th.  The Wind W. & by N. blowing moderate, Sun shiny .fair & pleasant, but cold and dry all day; gave Pyrs ye husband of Catherine Hughes 2s. who brought me 3 couple of Rab[i sw]ts. & Pd. Owen Roberts i0s. the remainder of his Sumer's [there is a line over the 'm' sw] wages
2ist.  The Wind S. blowing fresh and generally cloudy & dark, but made little or no rain dureing the day, but rained heavily in the night.
22d.  The Wind S. blowing high cloudy & dark all day attend- - ed with some showers of mizling rain morning & Evening but rained in earnest for most part of the night.
23d.   ●12 [this is written vertically below '23d.' sw] The Wind S. blowing fresh,and raining very hard all the morning till near 9 , all the rest of the day was wet, dirty mizling rain till about 9 at night it cleared up,grew – calm and the stars appeared: Paid  Marged uch huw Morus 2s. 2d. for a Side of Mutton &6d. for Turnips & Eggs, & pd. Robt. Owen the Cow keeper 9s. being the remainder of his Sumer's [there is a wavy line over the 'm' sw] wages.
24th.  The Wind W. blowing moderate, Sun shiny fair& dry all day My servants all this week when the weather served were plowing at Coydan·
25th.  The Wind S. blowing fresh and raining very hard all the morning till near i2^ [this inverted 'v' is on the line, as if he was going to make an insertion but didn't sw] the Evening likewise was a smoaky – mizling weather tho is did not rain hard.
26th.  The Wind W. blowing fresh & cold attended with frequent showers of rain morning & Evening & especially the first part of the Night: our Fair to day at LLanfechell was but indiferent, & very few cattle sold in it; pd. Owen Warmingham 5s. for attend – ing sick cattle here: & pd. Wm. Wms. the Taylor 5s. for makeing me aCoat & waistcoat·
