November 27th.  The Wind N. N. E. blowing high, stormy & very cold attended with severall showers of hail and sleet both morning & Evening_paid 6d. for 5 Chickens.
28th.  The Wind N. blowing moderate, generally Sun shiny & fair,but very cold & freezing all day, as it did last, but no showers of hail this day:
29th.  The Wind N. E. blowing very moderate, Sun shiny &fair all day, but very cold & freezing all this day also, but very slowly. 
30th.  The Wind S.E. calm and thawing gently all this day,but it ☞ [this pointing symbol in the margin is opposite this line sw] had freezed so hard last night that they could not plow this day: bought of Rhys bentir a quarter of Veal & the head for 1s. 10.and a quarter of mutton for 1s. 4d.
December ist.  The Wind W. & by S. very calm, cloudy & dark weather all the Morning; the Evening was brighter & some sun shine: My servants all this week are plowing fresh sand ^ground^ at Bodelwyn.
2d.  The Wind N. W. blowing fresh & cold, cloudy & dark for most part of the day, but made no rain, & freez'd hard this night· The Priest preached on John Chap:13th. & ye 34th. & 35th.verses.
3d.  The Wind E. very calm, sun shiny & fair, yet very cold all this day ,haveing freez'd last night & a very great hoar frost this morning : pd. 4s. for a pound of Bohea Tea, & pd. Mrs. Wms. of C[e sw]mlyn 15s. for half Pegget of Wheat,
4th.  The Wind E. S. E. very calm, sun shiny fair & clear all day haveing feezed hard last night togetherwith a great hoar frost, & before night the wind came to S.E. 
5th.  The Wind N. very calm, Sun shiny & fair & not very cold all– this day: pd. 2s. for 4 hundred fathom of Sand_rush Ropes.
6th.  The Wind  N. E. blowing moderate, cloudy,dark & very cold, made a great shower of hail about i in the Evening, but dry all the rest of the day.
7th.  The Wind E. blowing moderate, generally Sunshiny, but fair & dry all day; bought of Rhys Bentir a Side of Mutton for 2s. 
8th.  The Wind  N. E . in the morning, came about noon to N.W. blowing very moderate, cloudy & dark all day, but continued dry & very pleasant weather; My people all this week were plowing the fresh Sand ground at Bodelwyn ·
