December 9th.  The Wind N. W. blowing very moderate, but cloudy, dark & cold & made some little rain about noon, but was soon over: Pd. Hugh ’ Bwiliam Gabriel 7s. of his Winter's wages.
10th.  ❍2 [this is written vertically below '10th.' sw] The Wind E. & blowing moderate,yet very cold and raw weather cloudy and dark, about 2 în the Evening it begun to Snow,& continued all the rest of the Evening and till 8 at night, by which time the Earth was quite covered, but its raining — soon upon it, - it was all melted before day.
iith.  The Wind N. E. very moderate, but exceeding cold & raw and raining without intermission, but not hard all day & a great part of the night.
i2th.  The Wind E.& by N. blowing something fresh with a mizling rain & a thick, dark sky all day ; Paîd 25 s. for a Stays bought for Ann Wright at Chester & is. [1/- sw] for the Carriage of it, rained excessive hard for most part of it,if not all this night.
i3th.  The Wind S. blowing fresh,dark, cloudy weather with some rain in the morning, the rest of the day was moist, dark & moaky weather: Paid Lewis Wms. my head plowman 27s. which with 2is.paid him before is in full of his last Sumer's [there is a line over the 'm' sw] wages, pd. him likewise 6d. he had given in earnest to Harry Wms.
i4th.  The Wind S.E. blowing moderate,dark cloudy weather, & raining incessantly from 9 in the morning till 6 at night, & for a great part of that time extream hard, in somuch that by 3 a clock the great – est part of the low grounds were under water & the water a foot over the Bridge at the Village: bought of Rhys bentir a quarter of Pork for 3s. 3d. & a quarter of Veal for 1s. 
15th.  The Wind S. blowing pretty fresh, & a dark, moist smoky weather all the morning and Evening: My people all this week but to day were at the Same work as the week before .pd. Jane Edward the rest of her wages being i3s. 
i6th.  The Wind S. blowing pretty fresh, dark & cloudy & raining extream hard this morning about 5; the rest of the day was dark, moist & smoaky weather: The Priest finished the Sermon he had begun this day fortnight.
i7th.  The Wind S. blowing fresh & raining before day; dark, moist hazy weatherafter wards till i in the Evening; & the rest of the day continual rain.
i8th.  The Wind W. blowing pretty fresh, cloudy dark weather attended — with some showers of rain morning & Evening & all the day was – cold raw weather.
