| 10th. ❍2 [this is written vertically below '10th.' sw] The Wind E. & blowing moderate,yet very cold and raw weather cloudy and dark, about 2 în the Evening it begun to Snow,& continued all the rest of the Evening and till 8 at night, by which time the Earth was quite covered, but its raining — soon upon it, - it was all melted before day. |

The Wind S.E. blowing moderate,dark cloudy weather, & raining incessantly from 9 in the morning till 6 at night, & for a great part of that time extream hard, in somuch that by 3 a clock the great – est part of the low grounds were under water & the water a foot over the Bridge at the Village: bought of Rhys bentir a quarter of Pork for 3s. 3d. & a quarter of Veal for 1s. |
