| 28th. The Wind S. W. blowing pretty fresh and generally Sun shiny in the morning; most of the Evening was cloudy and dark, yet continued dry all this day: Paid Mr. [O sw].LLoyd the Coal Meter iL. 2s. duty for my Coal. |
| 29th. The Wind S.S.W. blowing fresh and cold, and ’tis a great blessing it is so, for it begun to rain sometime before i0 last night,(a clap of thunder preceding it)and continued I believe without any intermission, & generally excessive hard, and blowing high at the same time, till 6 this morning; the rest of the day was dry– and some sunshine,but made some little rain at the fall of night. |
