September 27th.  The Wind S. W. blowing very moderate with frequent showers in the morning, tho Sun Shiny & warm, all ye rest of the day did dry well: Pd.  2s. 3d.2/1 for Gimp [braid sw] for Anna Wright's – Gown, & 2s.^3d.^for Indigo .
28th.  The Wind S. W. blowing pretty fresh and generally Sun shiny in the morning; most of the Evening was cloudy and dark, yet continued dry all this day: Paid Mr. [O sw].LLoyd the Coal Meter iL. 2s. duty for my Coal.
29th.  The Wind S.S.W. blowing fresh and cold, and ’tis a great blessing it is so, for it begun to rain sometime before i0 last night,(a clap of thunder preceding it)and continued I believe without any intermission, & generally excessive hard, and blowing high at the same time, till 6 this morning; the rest of the day was dry– and some sunshine,but made some little rain at the fall of night.
30th.  The Wind S.W. blowing very fresh, or rather high, Sun shiny clear & fair in the morning; about i0 it grew cloudy and overcast, and begun to rain about noon, but did not continue long·
October ist.  The Wind S. W. blowing fresh with some sunshine and drying well all day till 5 in the Evening it made some little rain:
2d.  The Wind S.W. blowing fresh, cloudy and overcast all day, yet all the morning was dry, and did not begin to rain till near 3 in the Evening, and all the rest of the day was wet  & dirty : A very full Fair to day at LLanerchymedd & a great many cattle sold at pretty good rates; paid 6d. for a Milk strainer. 
3d.  The Wind W. & by S. blowing very fresh, cold & drying well, but the sky dark & troubled & threatening rain, but made none or very little, blessed – be God: paid 2s. for a side of Mutton to Marged ’chuw Morus. To Day I finished reaping
4th.  The Wind S. S. W. blowing moderate, cloudy & dark in the morning & threatening rain, but continued dry & for the most part Sun Shiny this day also: my people carryed in 32 shocks of black Oats to Coydan Barn and made another stack of Barley at home.
5th.  ● 5 [this is written vertically in the margin below '5th.' sw] The Wind S.W. blowing moderate, dark, cloudy and rusty weather all day; The Priest preached a piece of a Sermon on Mat: Chap: 7th. & verse i2th. about 7 this night it rained very hard.
6th.  The Wind S. W. blowing very moderate in the morning; & all the Evening it bl[e sw]w fresh, & the wholeday was, cloudy, dark, rusty with a smoaking wet mist . Paid Abraham Jones's bill being iL. iis.3/4.
