● 8 [this is written vertically in the margin opposite this entry sw] November December 6th.  The Wind N. E. blowing fresh and cold, cloudy & dark most part of the morning & the Evening, but sun shiny and pleasant from i0 to i . & dry all day: pd. Rhŷs Bentir 2s. for a Side of Mutton, & 10d. for an other quarter of Mutton bought of Shadrach's wife.
7th.  The Wind N.E· blowing fresh and cold, some sunshine, but – generally cloudy & dark, yet dry all day: My Servants all this- week were plowing the fresh sanded ground· at Coydan for Oats, and the day labourers were makeing the new hedge at Cae'r Defaid in Bodelwyn and planting it with quick of haw thorn, crab & some holly, & planted two Laurell trees in the bottom to thewest.
8th.  The Wind E. and blowing moderate, but cold, most part of this– day was sunshiny and fair.
9th.  The Wind N.& by E. calm, cloudy weather in the morning — but Sun shiny & fair , but cold from i0 till 2 in the Evening cloudy & dark the rest of the day and night·
10th.  The Wind N. & by W. very calm, cloudy & dark all day, with some little rain at severall times, but not enough to wett the stones all over.
iith.  The Wind N.W. calm, cloudy & dark weather all day, & made some few drops of rain like dew, but no wind at all to day any thing; Sent John ifan to Carnarvon to fetch Dr. Knight to my Son, & delivered him 2 Guineas to give my Brother Lewis to pay him for that— visit, and 1s. 8d. he expended on that Journey.
12th.  The Wind variable from S. W. in the morning till ii, to N.W. – from that time all the rest of the day, it blew fresh & cold all day with a driveing rain till 2 in the Evening: To Day I begin to thresh this year's corn: pd. Lewis Hughes 9s. for 2 pound weight of Isle of man Tea: & paid John Shadrach 3s.3d. for a side of Pork at the rate of 1d.1/4 a pound. Delivered the Priest 20L. to pay Mr. Roberts of Bodiar's Interest upon the Mortgage of Bodneva ·
i3th.  The Wind N. blowing fresh, and bringing down either feathered snow, hail or sleet from 4 in the morning for most part of the day: pd. Shadrach's wife, Margaret uch Hugh Morris i5d for a quarter of Mutton.
