November 28th.  The Wind N.E. blowing moderate, cold & raw weather, but continued dry all day.
29th.  The Wind E. & by N. blowing very moderate, cloudy & overcast, & very cold, yet continued dry all day : pd. 2s. for a Side of Mutton – and pd. John Dryhurst’s bill for mending the windows,comeing to 7s. 6d.
30th.  The Wind E. & by N. blowing very moderate. but very cold and raw, and cloudy and overcast all day, yet continued all day dry: My people all this week are plowing the small Oat ground at Coydan, but since Thursday they are plowing the Sand ground laid on last Sumer [there is a line over the 'm' sw]: My labourers are now, & have - been this week past makeing a new ditch about Caea ’r defaid in Bod - -elwyn (Cae erw’r Trosol & Cae'r Fuwch wen being ordered in the same manner before ) and planting the hedge with quick & Ash at proper intervals.
December ist.  The Wind E. and blowing moderate, but very cold, yet dry,cloudy - and overcast all day: The Priest preached on Mat : Chap: 16th. vers: 26th.
2d.  The Wind E. blowing fresh and very cold, generally cloudy & dark, yet some sun shine about noon, & continued dry all day: gave 2s. to my Brother Lewis's Man that brought here a Measure of Wheat, & gave an account that my Son who I have not seen since March last, tho he has been in the Countrey above 3 months is in a dangerous way at LLysdulas where he has been above two months ago: I forbear makeing reflections on that– inconsiderate unhappy man’s behaviour,who has not onely broke all my measures, but has greatly distressed me in my Circumstances.
3d.  The Wind E. calm, cloudy & dark weather all day, & made no rain, except some little on the fall of night: the weather very cold & raw continues – still.
4th.  The Wind [there is a mark above the 'W', but I think it is a WB mistake sw] E. & by N. very calm, Sun shiny and fair & dry all day: the Market at LLanerchymeddwon was very full, & corn sold for the following prices: Barley from i5s. 6d. to i6s. Rye about 20s. & wheat from 28s. to 30s. a pegget.
5th.  The Wind N.E. blowing fresh and very cold, Sun Shiny & pleasant in the morning and untill 2 in the Evening;and the rest of the day was cloudy & very cold, yet remained dry all day.
