iith.  The Wind N.E. blowing high and exceeding cold weather, but dry all day – I dreamed last night that Mr. Wm. Bodvell gave Mrs Lewis of Trysclwyn a Gold Watch –
12th.  The Wind N.E. a clear, fair, dry sun shiny day, & continued so till 11 or 12 at night when ye wind came to S. it freezed in ye beginning of the night, & the sky very starry & clear–

The Wind S. blowing pretty fresh and high, from 3 to 5 in ye morning it rained pretty sharp, very dark & cloudy all ye — morning with some rain, about 11 in ye Morning it rained briskly, but from i in the Evening till night it rained very hard when the Wind came to N.W. and blew a great storm and hurricane all the night

14th.  The Wind W.N.W. blowing a great storm, & very cold but the sky clear & sun shiny till ii, then it darkened & made severall sharp showers of rain till 3 in ye afternoon, fair from that time till night, gave away 3s. 6d. at Mrs. LLoyd of Rhosbeirio burying, 2s. 6d. to ye parson, 1s. to the Sexton, offering upon the Coffin being in a great measure over in this countrey & other superstition of give<ing> a Diodlist, or a great bowl of Ale or milk and a loaf of bread & cheese over the Coffin to the poor, there were 6 bearers in this burying who had Scarfs, alamode slik hatbands, & gloves, who were, Mr. Ro[w sw]–lands of Caera, Mr. Griffith of LLanddyfnan, Mr. Wms. the parson of LLanfaethly, Mr. Richard Hughes formerly of Tre'rd Tre'r Dryw, My self & Lewis Trysclwyn– 
15th.  The Wind W. dark, cloudy, cold & raw weather, made no rain to day, nothing else remarkeable —
