October 3ist.  The Wind S. blowing moderate, some Sunshine, and drying well all this day. finished sowing the wheat this day·

The Wind S. blowing very moderate, cloudy & dark all day but dry till noon; but most part of the Evening & a great part of the night was very heavy rain : I sowed of the large flat wheat one measure, and of the Red wheat i4 Cibbins .

2d.  The Wind W. blowing moderate, cloudy & dark weather & raining frequently very hard this day likewise .
3d.  The Wind S. W. blowing moderate, cloudy & dark weather allthis day also with some showers in the morning: Paid Rhŷs Bentir 5s. 6d. for a Side of Mutton ;and paid Rolant ’ Bwiliam Rolant iis.6d for Herrings & otherfish: it made a great deal of rain in the Evening and especially in the night it rained exceeding hard·
4th.  The Wind S. blowing very moderate, and generally sun shiny and dry all this day, but rained hard this night.
5th.  The Wind S. pretty calm & raining frequently in the morning; the Evening was dry, but it rained a great deal in the night: about 90 persons communicated to day at LLanfechell Church.
6th.  The Wind S. W. calm sun shiny fair & dry, but made a great deal of rain in the morning before day: I pd. to day to my Servant Robert Evans 9L. to pay for two steers he had bought for me of the man that lives at Cwt y Dwndwr, & delivered him 6L. 7s. more to pay Thomas Cadwalader of Tre Lowarch for two Cows he had bought for me: pd. likewise is. 3d. for i8 Birchen Beesoms,and 6d. for Nuts . LLanfechell Fair this day proved a pretty good one, a great number of Cattle being bought here this day .pd. 6s. 6d. for a hat for Jane Wright.
7th.  The Wind S. S. W. blowing moderate, some sun shine, but for the most part cloudy weather & attended with some rain after day light, and very heavy rain before day, and long & heavy rain again this night
8th.  The Wind S. W. blowing fresh, cloudy & dark weather & raining frequent & hard often in the fore noon, & more so in the afternoon when it blew very high & stormy & rained exceeding hard most part of the night·
9th.  The Wind S. W. blowing moderate, cloudy for the most part, but this day was dry, but rained pretty hard in the night: Gave Ann Wright five pounds & her Sister Jane i0s. to lay out for small necessaries as they may have occasion for.
i0th.  The Wind S. W.pretty calm, Sun shiny, clear & fair all this day – Paid Rhŷs Bentir 2s. 6d. for a Side of Mutton.
