April 17th. continued:  After dinner to day I paid my Bill for my Man & horses which was i0s. Pd. the Barber is. [1/- sw] pd. atdinner is. gave the servants 1s. & 2s. to John & Robert Bulkeley yeParson's nephews: Set out from Beaumares at 5 in the Evening & was at LLysdulas by Sun Set.
18th.  The Wind N.W. blowing very moderate & indifferent warm - but dark cloudy weather, yet dry all day: To Day I first heard the Cuccow this year.
19th.  The Wind N.W. very calm, sunshiny, fair & very warm all the morning; but it blew fresh in the Evening & cold towards night: paid My Sister Margarett Lewis 3s. 6d. that she had laid out for a hoop for Anna Wright·
20th.  The Wind S. S. W. cloudy & dark & raining in the morning – the Evening cold & dry, especially towards night·
2ist.  The Wind S.W. blowing very moderate, Sun shiny & warm with some intervalls of clouds at times; after dinner I set out for home after I had among the servants 4s. &was at home – before night .
22d.  The Wind W.& by N. blowing fresh cloudy & dark with frequent showers of rain in the morning, The Wind was high & very cold- in the Evening & night: Paid Robert Evans of LLanerchymedd by Mr. Jackson'sof the Generall Post Office ’ orders 22 shilling for News Papers to last Lady day: pd. likewise 3s. for Butcher ’s meat·
23d.  The Wind N.W. in the morning;calm, sun shiny & fair;blew from the S. in the Evening, was cloudy dark & rainy, & very cold.
24th.  The Wind variable all this day from S. to N.W. & so back to S. again, blowing pretty moderate in the morning, but high & very cold in the Evening till 5 a clock, attended with cold showers:paid Cousin Humphrey Mostyn ’s bill since Michaelmas last, being – 6 pounds 17 shillings & 3 halfpence. pd. for meat 3s. 8d. paid for thread is. 5d. and paid Aird a Scotch Pedlar 4 pound i shilling that my Son owed him .
25th.  The Wind S. & S. W. blowing high, stormy & cold for most part of the day attended with rain : a very poor slow fair to day at LLanerchymedd: pd. Rhys Powel 10s. 6d. more of his wages: pd. Jonet 22s. in full of her wages, & 4s. to – [Catherine sw] Prys in part . & is [1/- sw] I gave my man who went with the Oxen to the fair.
