June i6th.  The Wind E. calm & for the most part of the day Sun Shiny warm, fair & pleasant, & dry all the day: The Priest preached a rationall good Sermon on Heb: Chap: iith. & the last part of the 13th. verse : gave is. [1/- sw] at a Collection made to day for a poor man of LLanfaelog that has his house & all he had in it burnt about 3 weeks ago.
i7th.  The Wind S.W. in the morning, cloudy & overcast, came to N.W. in the Evening, was sun Shiny fair, warm & Sultry all day.
i8th.  The Wind W. calm, cloudy & overcast & cold for the season all the day; To day my people finished weeding the Corn .
i9th.  The Wind N. in the morning, about noon it came to N.W. & tho– it blew very moderate all day, yet it was very cold & scorching but generally Sun shiny all day.
20th. ●4 [this is written vertically below '20th.' sw] The Wind N. very calm, Sun shiny warm and pleasant and fine growing weather all day: To Day my people begun to work the stones blasted in Cae ’r Odŷn Galch. & made a piece of a wall in the End adjoining to the Road where was no depth for hedging 
2ist.  The Wind S. W. blowing moderate, cloudy & dark attended with– frequent showers all day; especially in the Evening when it - rained hard: pd. Marged uch huw Morus i3d.2/1 for a quarter of Veal & bought of Rhys Bentir a Side of Lamb for 8d. & gave a poor woman is. [1/- sw] as charity. 
22d.  The Wind S.S.W. calm, cloudy & dark with some showers in the morning; the Evening was Sun Shiny fair & pleasant: Set Carreg y Drawsffordd to Owen’ Prichard Roberts for the usuall rent of 8s.
23d.  The Wind S. W. blowing very moderate, cloudy and overcast all this day, yet it continued dry·
24th.  The Wind S.W. blowing fresh with frequent showers of heavy rain all this day.
25th.  The Wind S.W. blowing very moderate, Sun shiny & – fair for most part of this day.
26th.  The Wind W. calm, cloudy & overcast all this day, yet warm & Sultry: about 3 in the Evening it begun to rain, & made severall Showers from that time till night : Paid Mr. Hugh Davies of Dever^eux^[? sw] Court in London 7L. i7s. for my Son, being arrears for C[us sw]toms & Duties in ye Temple , & for which Mr. Hugh Davies Was his Bondsman . & delivered Wm. Griffith 3L. i2s. to buy me Coal in Mostyn .
