4th. The Wind S. for the most part,but it was in E. & W .at times, blew fresh all day, especially in the Evening & at night, and rained almost without intermission, and from 7 in the Evening till i0 (& it may be much longer, for I went then to bed) it rained exceeding hard. My people this week were harvesting the hay & repairing Cae'r LLorriau wet ditch, all but this day. |
5th. The Wind variable this day also from S. to W. & N.W. & raining almost all the morning, and made severall showers also in the Evening:Pd. 7th. The Wind S. W. blowing fresh in the morning , but the rest of the day from ii in the morning was calm, but cloudy & dark almost altoge- –ther, yet it made no rain: To day I made my upland hay into a Stack. |
8th. The Wind S. W. very calm & raining long before day & untill near 6, dry from that time till noon, and rained afterwards more or less till night, and I believe for the most part of night . |
9th. The Wind S. W. calm cloudy & dark weather, the Air very moist all day & not drying at all, and Made some small showers besides Pd. 6d. to Edward Dowdall the Husband of Elizabeth uch William Mathew for soldering a Silver spoon. |
10th. The Wind Varying all this day, very calm,sultry & moist, &tho it made no rain yet it did not dry any thing at all. |
