April 26th.  The Wind S. W. very calm, cloudy & dark, and raining a small mizling rain all the morning and- most part of the Evening.
27th.  The Wind S. very calm, dark cloudy weather with a moist fog all day & come mizling rain in the Evening: gave Wynn the barber 2s. & 2s. to the Servants at my lodging & set - out of Town about ii, & came to LLysdulas this night, pd. is. [1/- sw]for gloves & 1d.2/1 for setting a Shoe.
28th.  The Wind S. calm, dark & cloudy, but very warm and a fine spring .
29th.  The Wind S.W. blowing very moderate, & a dark thick fog - all the morning, the Evening was Sun shiny fair & pleasant gave 3s. to the Servants at LLysdulas, & set out for home about 4 where I arived ( blessed be God) safe & in health.
30th.  The Wind N.E. blowing moderate, Sun shiny fair & warm all day , yet it brought down hoar frost this night.
May ist.  The Wind N.  blowing moderate, Sun Shiny fair & warm all this day also: pd. Robert Evans of LLanerchmedd by Mr. Jackson's orders 22s. for one year's News papers to^5th^ April last. pd. also 4s. for 6 pound weight of White powder Sugar; & pd. Mary Jones of Llanfechell i3s. 6d. for i8 yards of course flax cloath & is. iid. for things I bought in her shop. pd. Lewis Wm. 2L. 2s. of his winter's wages
2d.  The Wind N. E. very calm, dark & cloudy weather & not cold, but all the Evening was Sun Shiny & fair : To Day I finished sowing i3 peggets & 7 Cibbins of Barley: and sowed also this day Cae'r f[? sw] Wen & Cae Niclas watkin with Countrey hay seed & 30 pound weight of Clover seed .  Pd. Owen Hughes the Smith ' s bill being i4s. 6d.
3d.  The Wind S. blowing fresh & warm all day till 5 in ye Evening it grew cooler . but made no rain : pd. Hugh ’ Bwiliam [there is a diagonal line above the 'm' sw] Gabriel [1 sw]0s. more of his winter's wages, & pd.Wm. Thomas i2s. being the remainder of his winter's wages.
4th.  The Wind S. very calm, cloudy & dark & raining almost without inter- mission from 5 in the morning till 5 in the Evening .
