i6th. The Wind N. E. blowing fresh & exceeding cold & scorching, made a very great shower of hail about 8 in the morning; |
i7th. The Wind W. blowing fresh, cloudy & dark, made some rain in the morning about 6 and a great shower of hail afterwards, and rained very hard again from i0 till past noon which brought the wind back again to N. & NW. & blew high & exceeding cold: pd. 6s. i0d.2/1 for 5 yards & half of flannel to make Ann Wright peticoats. |
i8th. The Wind N.E. blowing moderate, but bringing down both hail & feather'd Snow which cover'd the ground before 8 in the morning — but was all melted before i0; and the Sun shined clear & fair; about one in the Evening I Set out for Beaumares Sessions ,arived in Town by 6. pd. 1d.2/1 for Ale at Bwlch Gwyn. E. blowing fresh & excessive cold, & the ground thick covered with snow, haveing brought down feather'd snow & hail most part of last night & till 8 this morning: gave 6d. in ye glove at Swearing the Grand Jury, Pd. 6d. at breakfast, & 6d. at Night, Mr. Meyrick haveing treated all the company at dinner to day· |
