April 9th.  The Wind S. W. calm, cloudy & dark, and made some little rain this day also, and All the day the Air was thick and moist.
i0th.  The Wind S.W. blowing fresh, cloudy & dark moaky- weather with a moist foggy Air all day & some rain in the Evening .
iith.   ●3 [this is written vertically in the margin below 'iith.' sw]  The Wind S.W. blowing very moderate, cloudy and dark with a dirty, wet mizling rain almost all day: There was not a bit of Butcher's meat worth the Eating to day at LLanfechell Market, as indeed there was not since this dismal year came in, there not being in all this Neighborhood a Lamb fit to be killed by Easter last : Pd. To day 3d for fish.
i2th.  The Wind  S. W. blowing very high & stormy and attended with frequent showers of small driveing rain which continued with very little intermission till night: The Weather being so very- inconstant & the ground so wet, my people all this week were some part of some days plowing & the other part of it hedging or digging, & so thr'out the week .
i3th.  The Wind S.W. blowing fresh cloudy and dark with a wet mizling rain frequently this day also: The Priest preached on Job: chap: 22d. and verse 2ist.
i4th.  The Wind S.W. blowing high & stormy, and yet was cloudy & dark with a dirty driveing rain most part of this day also.
i5th.  The Wind S.W. blowing moderate, and made no rain to day. and the Sun shined for an hour or two this day.
i6th.  The Wind S. W. blowing fresh & attended with frequent showers of driveing rain this day also: A very small Market to day at– LLanerchymedd.
i7th.  The Wind S.W. calm, cloudy and dark and raining a dirty mizling rain almost all this day also: The ground is exceeding wet, and no plowing nor sowing in these parts·
i8th.  The Wind  S.W.blowing fresh and drying well all this day till 8 at night it made some rain : Paid Owen Hughes the Smith's bill, being i6s. 6d. & pd. Marged’chuw Morus 2s. 3d. for a Lamb and a Calf's head.
