September 10th.  The Wind.W. very calm, warm, & even Sultry with some sun Shine, but dry all day.
iith.  The Wind W. very calm, Sultry & warm in the morning; grew cold all of a Sudden about ii, was very warm afterwards from 2 to 5 in the Evening: To Day I finished reaping.
i2th. ❍5 [this is written vertically under 'i2th.' sw] The Wind W. very calm and a good deal of Sun shine this day, and dry all day: paid 1s. 4d. for a quarter of Mutton bought at LLanerchymedd ·
i3th.  The Wind S. W· very calm & warm, but cloudy & dark almost all day, yet made no rain :  Paid one Jemmeys a Scotch Pedlar iL. 2s. for a large Diaper Table cloath, & two Tea Table cloaths ; paid him also 9s. 4s. [I think he means 9s. 4d. sw] for 14 yards of Russia cloath to make towells, & 10d. for a Ribbon for Ann Wright.
i4th.  The Wind S.W. very calm all day, Sun shiny fair & very sultry till 2 in the Evening; the rest of the day was cloudy & overcast- but continued dry: Pd. Rhŷs Bentir 3s. for a quarter of Veal & a quarter of Mutton ·
i5th.  The Wind S.W. calm, Sunshiny, very hot & Sultry all day & continued dry- till betwixt 6 & 7 in the Evening when it grew dark & overcast attended - with thunder and lightning when it made 3 or 4 very heavy showers of rain: To Day I carryed in all my Corn, haveing at home but Nine Score & six shocks of Barley: & Nine score & 13 shocks of White Oats - whereof in Cae ffrŵd y wrâch 7i shocks, in Cae Mieri 49 shocks, in Cae'r fuwch wen i6 shocks. in Cae pen brynclynni 56 shocks; & 44– Shocks in Cae'r beudy & erw'r llidiart of black Oats.
i6th.  The Wind N.W.calm, sun shiny dry and very warm all day: The Priest preached on the same text as this day fortnight,being ye second part of the merciless doctrine .
i7th.  The Wind S. blowing fresh & something cold, & for the most part dark and cloudy, but made little or no rain this day:
i8th.  The Wind S. blowing high, especially in the Evening;made severall showers of mizling rain in the morning,& all the day was dark moaky weather.
i9th.  The Wind S. blowing fresh, dark moist weather & bordering on rain, - yet it held out without makeing but verylittle .
