Easter Day [this is written in the margin under '10th.' sw] The Wind W. blowing fresh cloudy & dark all ye Morning and a fine shower about 6: the Evening Sun Shiny & fair, with a small shower on the fall of night & raining pretty hard about 9 at night: There was this morning about 178 comunicants [there is a line over the 'm' sw], & about 70 yesterday; The Priest in ye Evening preached on Heb: Chap. 9th. & the last part of ye 26th.vers gave 6d. to a Collection for a poor Man of this parish, & pd. 6d. for ale |
