April 3d.  The Wind W. moderately calm & fair, with somevery small showers in the morning and Evening & some Sun shine:
4th.  The Wind E. blowing fresh and cold & generally Sun shiny & dry all day; Inoculated to day 6 berries of the Misletoe, 4 in the smooth rind of 4 Oaks, one in an Apple tree, & one in an Ash.
5th.  The Wind W. blowing fresh & cold, generally cloudy, & dark all day, and made some little rain about 6 in the Evening; Paid the Smith of Rhosbeirio 1s. 6d. for makeing a New touch hole to my little Gun & shooing my own horse.
6th.  The Wind N. E. blowing fresh and exceeding cold all day, especially in the morning, but dry & generally Sunshiny.
7th.  The Wind S.W. in the morning and very moderate, it came to W. in the Evening & settled there; all this day was cloudy & dark, and sometimes a small mizling rain of a very short continuance: Pd. Evan Pierce the Mole Catcher of Bedd – Kil–hart in Carnarvanshire 8s. 7d.2/1 for Catching Moles at the rate of 9d. a Dosen .
8th.  The Wind from W. & by N. in the morning to W. & W. & by S — before night, I had 5 people these 5 days betwixt Masons & people to serve them pointing the East & North quarterly Aspects of my Garden wall , and copeing those 2 sides, Pd. Richard Roberts of Cerrig Mân 3s. 6d. for his work; the others were my Servants & Tenants.
9th.  The Wind S. W. blowing fresh, cold, cloudy & dark all day with some little mizling rain now & them, My people this week were Sowing Barley at Coydan Park: Delivered 10s. 6d. to Cousin Ambrose Lewis to give a Lawyer for his advice in Mr. Wright's buissness upon the validity of Serving a De– – claration in Ejectment on a Tenant that was dead—
10th.  Easter Day [this is written in the margin under '10th.' sw] The Wind W. blowing fresh cloudy & dark all ye Morning and a fine shower about 6: the Evening Sun Shiny & fair, with a small shower on the fall of night & raining pretty hard about 9 at night: There was this morning about 178 comunicants [there is a line over the 'm' sw], & about 70 yesterday; The Priest in ye Evening preached on Heb: Chap. 9th. & the last part of ye 26th.vers gave 6d. to a Collection for a poor Man of this parish, & pd. 6d. for ale
iith.  The Wind N. in the morning, came to W. in the Evening, and all the day it blew high & extream cold, but generally Sun shiny & dry, yet made some showers of cold sleet in ye morning: the night was calm & moderately warm.
