October 3d.  The Wind E. N. E. blowing very moderate Sun shiny fair & warm almost all this day: The Fair to day at Llanerchymedd was very full of Cattle, & a great many young cattle & Cows were bought there, but very - few oxen.
4th.  The Wind E & by S. blowing pretty fresh, Sun shiny, fair dry .& not cold all this day: Ann Wright lies under a very dangerous kind of Small Pox that looks like that called the confluent small Pox which I pray the Almighty to – relieve her & deliver her from the danger attending it. 
5th.  The Wind S. blowing fresh cloudy & dark & made severall pretty sharp showers from i0 in the morning till 2, & the sky looks as if it would make more: Paid Owen Hughes the Smith's Bill being iL. 2s. 4d. in full to this day: Pd. also i2s wages to servants: rained very hard this night about i2.
6th.  The Wind N. W. in the morning, settled at W. before noon, and tho it rained hard before day, yet all this day was Sun shiny, fair warm &pleasant: Paid John Hughes of Marian's Shop Bill- being 20s. Sent by Ellen Hughes 3s. 6d. to pay for things in Chester Fair. 
7th.  The Wind S. blowing very moderate and not very cold, & generally Sun – shiny & dry till night when it made some rain about 8 & rained very hard afterwards about i2 at night & often again before day : Sent by - Sion ifan is. 6d. to buy Nuts at LLechwedd isaf: [this seems to be a Caernarvonshire hundred sw] & Pd. the Collector of the Land and light tax 2L. 2s. i0d. for the 2 first quarterly payments · for ye land tax & Light tax .
8th.  The Wind E. & by N. blowing fresh & cold, cloudy & dark weather in the morning; some sun shine in the Evening & dry all day, but made some rain in the night : My people were for the greatest part of this week carrying Dung to Cae'r Pyllau in order to sow wheat in it·
9th.  The Wind W. calm, Sun shiny fair & warm all this day ; & a full Congrega- –tion to day at LLanfechell Church ·
i0th.  The Wind E. blowing fresh, cold & dry all day with some sunshine, and a great dew on the ground in the morning.
iith.  The Wind E. very calm, Sun shiny & warm all day & a very great dew on the ground in the morning, My people these 2 days were opening wet ditches.
i2th.  The Wind E. very calm, Sun shiny & fair,but a very great hoar frost on the ground this morning ; and made a sharp shower this night about 7.
