July 28th. The Wind N. E. very calm, cloudy and dark most part of the day and very Sultry; betwixt 12 & i in the Evening it made asmart shower for half an hour, dry the rest of the day, but continued cloudy and overcast . |
29th. The Wind W.& by S. blowing very moderate; generally cloudy and overcast with a heavy lowring sky, but continued dry all the day. |
30th. The Wind S. blowing pretty fresh, cloudy and dark all day and made severall small showers but of short continuance from i0 in the morning till 3 or 4 in the Evening. |
3ist. The Wind N. very calm, sultry and hot , and a great part of the day was Sun Shiny, but all the day was dry & pleasant. The Fair to day at Aberffraw proved very good, but no great number of Cattle in it. |
August ist. The Wind S. and blowing moderate till 3 or 4 in the Evening– when it blew fresh; all the day was dark & cloudy and almost raining altogether more or less . R. Jones begun to work here to day. |
2d. The Wind S. blowing fresh and generally Sun shiny, And all the Afternoon it blew high, hot and scorching: A pretty good flesh Market to day at LLanfechell. |
3d. The Wind S. blowing moderate, and makeing very frequent showers of rain all the morning and severall of them very heavy the Evening was generally dry and Sun shiny : I got in all my hay into stacks since yesterday. |
4th The Wind S. blowing pretty fresh and raining exceeding hard this morning about 5. & made severall showers aftewards: The Priest preached on i.John.Chap: 3d. & the last part of the 3d. verse. on the fall of night, it rained again exceeding heavy for near half an hour· |
5th. The Wind W. blowing very moderate, with a mizling rain in the morning till 9. the rest of the day was dry, but very like raining: My people to day are discharging [3 sw]tons of Coal at Cemaes & carrying them home : pd. John Hughes Mariner the owner of the Boat 34s for the Coal & Carriage & port Charges & 9s[^d^ sw] to pay the Duty. |
