December 4th.  The Wind E. blowing very fresh and exceeding cold all this day: pd. i6s. 6d. for a small Pig ^the like of^ which might have been bought i0 years ago for 7s.: To Day I begin to thresh my Corn at home —
5th.  The Wind N E. blowing very fresh, cloudy & dark weather & excessive cold all this day & night & yet did not freeze which is very strange·
6th.  The Wind N. E. & blowing very moderate, Sun shiny & pleasant till 3 in the Evening when it grew cloudy & overcast & was exceeding cold; about 6 it brought down feathered snow till 7 which covered ye ground 2 or 3 inches deep & freezed gently the rest of the night: sold To Day a Bull Hide at LLanerchymedd which weighed i40 pound for one penny a pound and i0d. over & above ·
7th.  The Wind N.E. pretty calm & generally Sun shiny, but melted none of the snow & freezed gently all this day and is very cold.
8th.  The Wind S. blowing pretty fresh, cloudy & dark and very cold & raw weath – er all day: about i in the Evening it begun to rain which it continued more or less till 9 at night: pd. Rolant ’ Bwiliam Rolant 6d. for fish, & pd. Rhŷs Bentir is. 6d. for a quarter of veal
9th.  The Wind W. calm & generally sun shiny but very cold & raw all this day and made no rain: pd. Rolant Jones of Llanerchymedd 8s. for make - ing me a Periwig (I provideing him hair ) . My people all this week also were fallowing fresh ground at Cae'r LLorriau .
i0th.  The Wind S. S. W. Blowing high and raining very hard about 2 this morning; the rest of the day till 4 in the Evening was something calm, cloudy with a mizling rain for the most part, & the night was light and blowing very high & stormy: The Curate preached on Psalm 89th. & 47th. verse .
iith.  The Wind S. blowing fresh, cloudy, moist, cold & raw weather all this day; it begun to rain very hard about 8 at night & continued raining hard I believe all the rest of the night·
i2th.  The Wind S. blowing moderate & raining hard till 8 in ye morning the rest of the day was dark & cloudy with some rain afterwards Paid Michael Evans iL. i4s. 7d. for stuffs &c to make Ann & Jane Wright Gowns; & pd. Mrs. Wms. 6d. 6d. for making them & altering — some other Gowns: Paid also to John Evan 2L. i4s wages : it made very great rain this Evening about 4 a clock ·
