March i4th.  The Wind W. N. W. blowing fresh _ .Sun Shiny for the most part & dry all day, & the night remarkable clear & starry.
i5th.  The Wind W. S. W. blowing very high & exceeding stormy & tempestuous, beginning to blow high as – early as 3 in the morning, & tho it made very heavy rain from that time to 8 the wind was not in the least abated but rather increased, tearing & breaking of Trees, Corn, hay & houses & I am afraid we shall hear of great destruction at Sea.
i6th.  The Wind S. W. blowing fresh, & generally Sun shiny & drying well all this day, & every body employed in repairing the damage their houses, Corn & hay stacks had received yesterday.
i7th.  The Wind W. blowing moderate, some sun shine in the morning and not cold; but the Evening was very cold, dark & cloudy: This Day about ii Mr. Richard Bulkeley late Parson of this parish his Corps set out from his late house to LLanfachreth Church to be buryed with his Ancestors, I accompanyed the Corps to Mynydd Mechell on foot, & from thence return'd home haveing given my Sister(who went to the burying ) 3s. to offer for me.
i8th.  The Wind S. W. blowing very moderate, yet very cold & raw weather, cloudy, dark & rusty weather with the Air very — moist bordering on rain, yet it made none: Pd. 2d1/2 for fish, and is. [1/- sw] for Diap[cu? sw] for a horse .
i9th.  The Wind S. blowing fresh and cold, cloudy & dark weather with a very moist Air bordering on rain all day, yet it did not rain out right till 9 at night: My people to day & yesterday were harrowing small Oats .
20th.   1● [this is written vertically in the margin below '20th.' sw]   The Wind W. N. W. blowing fresh and cold, but Sun Shiny fair and drying well till 3 in the Evening when it grew overcast & cloudy and very cold and. made some rain in the night·
2ist.  The Wind S. blowing fresh, yet it was cloudy thick, foggy Air with a sort of Scotch Mist all the morning; cleared up a little in the Evening - & blew fresh, and made a great deal of rain in the night: pd.7d. for 2 pound of fresh butter. 
22d.  The Wind W. S. W. blowing pretty fresh, Sun shiny & dry most part of this day and the night clear & serene.
