August i9th.  The Wind N.W. blowing moderate, Sun-shiny fair dry generally all day, yet the night was cloudy and overcast.
20th.  The Wind W. in themorning, & blowing pritty fresh & dry- and generally Sun Shiny till 3 in the Evening when the Wind came to S. grew dark & overcast. but made no rain.
2ist.  The Wind S. W. blowing fresh, dark, cloudy weather all day and - threatening rain, yet it continued dry all day: Newborough Fair this day turned out but poorly; the Drovers were very nice & would presume (if they had been allow'd)to pick out 4 or 5 Bullocks out of 8 or 10.
22d.  The Wind S. W. blowing pretty fresh, cloudy & dark with a- very moist Air all day except a little time when the Sun - shined faintly about 3 in the Evening : To Day I finished bringing in all my Meadow hay every where: Paid 4s. 10d. for 3 Cibbins of Wheat at LLanerchymedd· Market, it being all that was there·
23d.  The Wind S. S. W. blowing pritty fresh, cloudy & dark all day- yet made no rain till far in the night: To Day I begun to reap.
24th.  The Wind N. E. & was brought to that point by a shower of rain this morning about 6; all the rest of the day was dry- Sun Shiny, fair & very warm: Sowed yesterday in the Wall - Garden the following Seeds in the following order mentioned in the paper annexed: [there is no additional paper at this point sw]
25th.  The Wind S. W. very calm in the morning with a thick hoar frost blew fresh in the Evening, yet all the day was SunShiny dry, fair and pleasant:
26th.  The Wind S. W. & raining almost incessantly all day morning & Evening .
27th.  The Wind W. blowing moderate, Sun shiny, fair & drying well all this day after the great rain yesterday.
28th.  ● 3 [this is written vertically in the margin below '28th.' sw] The Wind S. W. blowing moderate & generally Sun shiny, but dry all day, it grew cloudy & overcast about 5 in the Evening, and the Wind blew fresh in the Night with a Whistling noise the never failing Sign of an approaching rain .
