Robert Owen 17s. 9d.2/1 for digging stones at Cnewchdernog : finished my planting all the Forest Trees I intend to plant this year,having planted at the bottom of the hedges in Cae ' r Fuwch Wen and Cae ffrŵd y wrâch (where I planted also haw thorn & Crab) i39 Ash Trees, besides some few ^being 10^ ElmsI planted at Cae'r allt – ddu, & i Elm at Cae'r Gegin, & i Eugh in the fir walk & i in CaeTy'n y llwyn. |

Pd. 6s. i0d. being an assessment of 2d. in the pound towards building a Gaol: This is a project of the hot headed Jacobites of this countrey: it has been attempted by them several years ago,& now effected,which will entail an eternal charge upon the Countrey: Every sheriff heretofore being satisfyed with the house the Gaoler lived in for a Gaol. |
