W. calm, cloudy and overcast all day; & raining more or less all the morning and untill 2 in the Evening– the rest of the day was dry, but very like rain: Newborough Fair to day proved but indifferent: pd. 7s. 6d. charges — with my Cattle sent to Aberffraw Fair, & carrying them to Porth –aethwy to receive the money: Pd. likewise iL. 2s. 6d. for 300— measures of Red Wharf Sand to John Wm. The Wind S.W. & blowing very moderate, and generally Sun shiny fair & dry all this day, except a short sharp shower about 4 in the Evening : Paid Marged ’chuw Morrus i4d. for a hindquarter of Veal that weighed i8 pound & half, & 4d. for the head: & Pd. Rhŷs Bentir i6d. for a fore quarter of Mutton weighing 9 pound & 1s. for a hind quarter of Venison weighing i0 pd. |
23d. The Wind W. & by S. blowing fresh & for the most Sun shiny & fair, yet made 2 or 3 showers this day also: my people divide the work this week betwixt the hay & carrying Turf it being so very unsettled weather: pd. Wm. Bevan 6s. more for labouring work. |

25th. The Wind E. & by N. blowing moderate, cloudy, dark & cold for – the most part all this day, but made no rain. |
26th. The Wind E. and blowing moderate, cloudy, cold & dark weath –er till 4 in the Evening it shewed a little Sun, but was dry all this day also: Pd. 3s. for Whitning of cloath, & gave 1s. as - Charity to a poor Numerous family. |
