May 26th.  The Wind S. very calm with a dark, wett– mist till near noon; the rest of the day was Sun shiny fair and warm till near 8 when a very thick fog arose & continued for most part of the night, if not all the night: My people spent all this week in repairing breaches in the Park wall, & doing that very in differently: paid Jane Jones the Derry Maid iis. 6d. being the remainder of her last Winter's wages.
27th.  The Wind S. calm in the morning, with a very great mist, which- clear'd up about i0 . it blew moderate the rest of the day with some Sun shine, but not so warm as the two last days: pd.Mrs. Williams of Cemlyn 3 pounds 12s. for 9 peggets of White Oats I bought for sowing, and 15s. for half pegget of Wheat: Delivered likewise to to Richard Roberts 3 pounds 8s. to pay for 4 peggets of Barley he bought for me.
28th.  The Wind W. & N. W. by turns, very calm, cloudy & dark in the morning and till i0. the rest of the day was sunshiny warm and Sultry: pd. John Hughes the remainder of his wages, being i3s. 6d. paid likewise to one Richd. Roberts the Master of a Vessell belong- ing to Edward Griffith of Conway i8s. for 260 Measures of Red Wharf sand·
29th.  The Wind N.W. blowing very moderate, Sun shiny,fair, hot and Sultry all day: pd. Sion ifan Sion 13s. being the remainder of his Winter's wages.
30th.  The Wind N.W. calm, cloudy and dark weather almost all day, yet sultry and hot; To Day I sheared my Sheep: pd. Owen Roberts iis.5d. being the remainder of his Winter's wages.
3ist.  The Wind E. blowing fresh, Sun shiny and very hot & scorching all day: Sent my Man to Beaumares Fair this day to buy 6 Strodirs which cost me 7s. 6d. & allowed him 1s. for his expences.

2d.  The Wind N. E. blowing very moderate, and generally very calm - sultry and very hot all day: the Evening was cloudy & threatend rain, and the sky shewed Thunder, & some Said they heard some : gave is. [1/- sw] to a– woman that brought me half a Salmon from LLysdulas as a present, – that half weighed Eight pound .
