6th. The Wind S. W. very calm, cloudy & dark with some showers of rain morning and Evening: My people all this week at some trifling – work or other, no touching the hay that has been cut 3 days ago: Sent iis. for Mr. Ben: Parry of Dublin for his trouble in sending me the Irish Gazette. |
7th. The Wind S.W. blowing moderate, cloudy and dark weather, and raining till ii; the Evening was dry, and it blew pretty fresh from the W. about 6 & all the rest of the day· |
