22d.  The Wind S. blowing fresh, very dark, cloudy with a rusty fog all day, but made no rain : gave is. 6d. to Martha Domos Dafyd the Mother of a Numerous poor family, Pd. 4s. for News Papers - & iid. for a Padlock ·
23d.  The Wind S. blowing high, cloudy & dark weather all day & some showers of rain in the morning, the Evening was dry, but all the night was exceeding high Wind and stormy & much rain·
24th.  The Wind S. blowing fresh & cold, but made no rain till night, when it rained a great deal·
25th.  The Wind S. blowing high, stormy & very cold all day but made no rain: A thin Fair to day at LLanfechell being cold & wet: paid 7d. for fresh butter.
26th.  The Wind S. blowing very fresh & cold, cloudy & dark all day, about i0 it rained excessive hard for near an hour which left large puddles of water in every hollow place; the Evening was dry & some sun shi[n sw]e·
27th.  The Wind N. blowing fresh & very cold, yet sun shiny for the most part of this day and drying well.
28th.  The Wind S. blowing fresh, cloudy & dark weather all – day and raining hard all the morning, but the Evening was dry: Executed to Day a Lease to Richard Rob– –erts upon Rhwng y ddau fynŷdd for 2i years to com- –ence at Allsaints next at the rent of 6 pounds 6Shillings clear of all taxes.
March ist.  The Wind W. & by S. blowing moderate, cloudy & dark in the morning; the Evening Sun shiny & fair & all the day [? sw] [the word has disappeared because of the hole where the moon should be in the entry for 18th February sw] dry. gave 3s. Charity to a poor family to provide them Meat in this very hard, scarce& diartime·
2d.  The Wind S. blowing fresh,cloudy& dark weather but dry all this day.
3d.  The Wind S. blowing moderate & for the most part dark & cloudy, yet dry all this day also .gave 2s. Charity to a poor man & Father of 5 small children.
4th.  The Wind N.E. blowing fresh& very cold with frequent showers of hail in the morning: the Evening Sun shiny & dry  .
