The Wind S.W. very cold, but dry praised be god, the poorest Fair for Cattle to day at LLanderchymedd as hath been seen in the memory of Man, The Judge, all the Councill, and the Officers of the Court dined this day with the Grand Jury at the Bull head, which dinner cost us 9L. 00.s00d–

26th.  The Wind W. very cold, most of the Grand Jury dined to day with the Judge, found Bills of Indictments against John Prichd. Dick LLanllyfny's Son, for Burglary & fellony, against Joh..David [both Nesta Evans and Helen Ramage give 'Davis' sw] the Miller of Frogwy for killing his Maid, against an old woman of Llangaffo for stealing 40s. the last haveing comitted no burglary & being the first offence was burnt in the hand, the Miller found guilty of Manslaughter onely was likewise burnt in the hand John Prichard was condemned to be hanged, which will be executed upon him the 10th. day of May next. dropped 7s. 6d more in the Jury Chamber toward our expenses, gave 1s Charity, rained hard this Night — pd 9d to a Llanllechyd man for a cock.
