July 21st.  The Wind S.W. dark & cloudy, but made no rain till 10 att Night when it made a very heavy shower, my people to day carrying Lime from Y❚ Friganin Llaneigrad to Coydan Barn to repair it. which costs there 12d a peggett . 
22d.  The Wind S. cloudy & dark in the Morning,the Evening clear till 5 when it became dark & very cold; my people this day in the hay.
23d.  The Wind S.W. blowing a meer storm all day, but (I believe) it made no rain from Sun to Sun.
24th.  The Wind S.S.W raining all the morning, & very calm, the Evening windy, with frequent showers of rain. Carnarvan Fair proved very bad .pd. 2d.for fish.
25th.  The Wind S. raining in the morning till near 8 a clock, then cleared up, & made a dry, sun-shiny afternoon, pd. 18d for Lobsters. & pd. the Churchwarden of LLanddeusant 11s. Church Mize for my Lands there in my own holding, a great Fair at LLanfechell to day for Linnen & woolen Cloath, Pedlars, Shoomakers & hatters &c. but very few Cattle .
26th.  The Wind S. calm in the Morning & dark cloudy weather, the Evening Sun-Shiny, dry & fair & blowing high, my people dischargeing a Sand boat in the Morning, & in ye hay in ye Evening
27th.  The Wind S. raining in the Morning, & calm, close, cloudy Weather, my people dischargeing 2 Sand Boats to day
28th.  The Wind S. raining very hard in the Morning, & at intervalls most part of the day, accompanyed with a great storm of wind.
29th.  The Wind N. & N.W. dark cloudy weather & very cold all the Morning; the Evening Sun-Shiny & fair, but very cold, my people both these days carrying of Sods or peat from Coydan for Winter fuell.
