May 2ist.  The Wind W. & by N. blowing very moderate, Sun shiny, fair and warm, especially in the Evening: My people most part of this week were fen – – cing betwixt the Corn & grass ground, and stocking & carrying home Gors– 
22d.  The Wind N.W. blowing very moderate, for the most part Sunshiny fair and warm, & particularly so all the Evening, but the night was cloudy.
23d.  The Wind W. & by N. blowing pretty fresh and very cold, cloudy & dark – and attended with a scotch Mist from 9 in the morning till i2 when it— made a pretty sharp shower for a quarter of an hour·
24th.  The Wind N. E. blowing fresh and very scorching & cold, but sun ∼ shiny and clear all day: Paid Mrs. Broadhead 3 pounds 3 shillings for two peggets of Barley.
25th.  The Wind N. blowing moderate, cloudy. dark & very cold all day: Pd. Robert Owen ab Huw Lewis 22s. being his winter wages in full .
26th.  The Wind N.E. blowing pretty fresh & cold, but the Air clear & the Sun warm_ Pd. William Elias’s son 5s. for the use of his Father's Stone horse this Evening to two of My Mares, namely Flower & Phillis.
27th.  The Wind S. blowing fresh & for the most part cloudy & overcast but made no rain: Pd. Rhŷs Bentir 3s. 3d. for Butcher's meat, & Pd. Richd. ab Wm. Prichd. ab Wm. Pugh 6d. for mending my cloaths .
28th.  The Wind W. blowing moderate & not cold, Some sun shine, but cloudy for the most part: My Servants were all this week employed betwixt dig– – ging Gors and opening wet ditches.

29th. Whitsunday. [this is written in the margin below '29th.' sw]  The Wind S. blowing fresh, Sun shiny & fair, yet cold, but the Even -ing proved cloudy & made a little rain before night: about i20 per – -sons received the Sacrament to day at LLanfechell. 

30th.  The Wind W. calm, cloudy and dark and the Air cold for ye time of the year: Pd. Owen Roberts 28s. being the remainder of 32s his wages for last winter .
3ist.  The Wind N.E. blowing moderate but cold, cloudy & dark weather & raining more or less almost all day.
June ist.  The Wind N.E. calm, cloudy & dark weather & raining all this also and often very hard: Pd. Wm. Prichd. Owen all his winter's wages being 34s. 6d. tho he was near half the Season sick.
2d. 10 ❍ [this is written vertically in the margin below '2d.'sw]   The Wind N. blowing fresh & cold & drying well all this day,being Sun - Shiny & fair: was this day at Amlough viewing the ground on the Bodneva side of the harbour in order to appoint a place for Rowland Wms. the Quaker to build a Store house: I Pd. there is. [1/- sw] for Meat & drink & pd. Grace Mostyn 3s. 5d. for Iron hoops·
