With Hugh Hughes of Tyddyn y Weyn, Wm. Roberts of Brocket Hall, Richard Parry of Tyddŷn Fadog, Richard Sion David of Cefn Helyg all of this parish of LLanfechell, & with Robert Owen of Garreg fawr, and Owen Roberts of Tyddŷn y Beiddy both of LLanbadrick; that the Said above named Six persons should dig stones & work a wall of 4 foot 9 inches high, 30 inches broad at bottom, & 22 inches broad at top betwixt the Lands of Edward Wms. Esqr. Called – Clygyrog isa & my Lands called Bodelwyn ucha beginning at the South end of the Steep Rock near Caeau Bychain, and ending at ye corner of Bodelwyn Meadow, they are to have all ye old Stones in ye wall already to that use, and Mr. Wms. & I are to pay them 4s. for every– Rood . Note: the wall to be built upon 2 severall severall steep Rocks are to be but 4 foot high Mr. Wms. s Tenant & my Self gave them each of us 1s. earnest, & paid each of us 18d. for – drink for them.

24th.  The Wind S. W. blowing fresh, wîth frequent showers of rain in the morning; the Evening fair & dry; Delivered into the hands of Wm. Owen the Taylor 32s. 6d. to buy me as much Stuff and trimmings as will make me a Sumer's [there is a line over the 'm' sw] Coat.
