May 25th.  The Wind W. S. W. blowing high all day with some small showers of rain in the Evening: The Market at LLanerchmedd the Same as ye Week before.
26th.  The Wind S. W. blowîng high, but Sun Shiny & dry all day , yet blasting every thing the hoar frost had left.

27th.   7 ❍ [this is written in the margin below '27th.' sw] 

The Wind S.W. blowing very high, hot & scorching all day, A poor Market to day at LLanfechell, & very little Butcher's meat.

28th  The Wind variable all day, at S.E. about 4 in the morning & raining excessive hard long before that & untill 7 . when it came to N. N.W. & blew a rank storm till 9 when it settled at S.W.& raîned again from 3 in the Evening all the rest of ye day, my people all this week plowing the Pinfolds, & filling up the trenches over the Water course at Bodelwyn .
29th.  The Wind S. W. blowing high, sun shiny, dry & scorching all day: & tho it was fair, there was no great congregation at LLanfechell Church.
30th.  The Wind S. W. blowing fresh & some little rain in the morning about 5 , the rest of the day dry & not so windy .
31st.  The Wind S.W. calm &fair in the morning; abt. noon it grew cold & blew fresh & made some cold rain. & continued raining & very cold all ye rest of the day. Set Melin y Nant for the term of 4 years to William Owen Morgan now at Cefn Coch Mill at ye usuall Rent of iiL. 10s. to comence at Allsaints next.
