March iith.  The Wind W. blowing moderately, and generally Sun shiny & fair till 3 in ye Evening_ when it grew cloudy and overcast and made some – small mizling rain: To Day my people begun to sow small Oats .it blew all ye Night very high & cold from N.W.
i2th.  ●9 [this is written vertically in the margin below 'i2th.' sw] The Wind N. N.W. blowing very high & excessive cold, and freezed hard last night, yet cloudy & dark all day: the cold- winds continued blowing high and feezing all night.
i3th.  The Wind N. very calm, dark, cloudy weather with a pretty hard frost this morning also, yet this day in generall was - not cold ·
i4th.  The Wind W. in the morning; came to S.W. about noon, & was generally cloudy & dark all day & very cold : Paid Cos: Humph Mostyn's Shop bill being 2L. iis. 3d. No Butcher's meat at LLan- – fechell Market this day.
i5th.  The Wind S. blowing very moderate, & not cold; raining in the morning early, as it did pretty hard last, but the rest of the day was dry & pleasant: Pd. John ifan for i0 Cibbins of brown or hogs pease i9s.
i6th.  The Wind S. by E. blowing moderately, cloudy & dark - and very cold all day, haveing freezed pretty hard last night, about 3 in the Evening it made a great shower of Sleet, which was soon followed by a great shower of hail which was not melted by night, and it freezed again this night: The Priest preached on Mat: Chap: 22d. & ii & i2th. verses·
i7th.  The Wind W. blowing fresh & cold & for the most part Sun - shiny & dry this day ; and continued so to the end of it.
i8th.  The Wind E. blowing moderate but cold & a great hoar frost this morning, but the whole day was dry : finished sowing all - my small Oats & pease, & some great Oats in Cae sgubor Goedan but have no ground dry enough to sow any again this long time.
i9th.  The Wind E. pretty calm & very temperate, dry & pleasant: To Day I begun to make my new hedge betwixt Cae Rhyd y Gaseg and Cae Carreg –
