October 2ist.  The Wind S. S. W. blowing fresh, with frequent showers in the morning; the Evening fair and dry, & all the day was warm: pd. & allowed Roger ab Wm. Owen 2s. 5d2/1 for a quarter of Pork, & pd. Robert Sion Dick 1s. 6d. for Raw Hemp .
22d.  The Wind S. very moderate and warm,with some little rain about 10, & all the day was cloudy & dark & made a good deal of rain in the night.
23d.  The Wind S.W. calm, very fair, Sun Shiny & clear generally all day: The Priest preached on i. Cor. Chap: iith. 27.28th. verses.
24th. 7❍ [this is written in the margin under '24th.' sw] The Wind S. E. calm and warm, but cloudy and dark - and raining almost incessantly all day & all night, so that I could stir but very little out of the house.
25th.  The Wind E . calm, warm, close weather with a mizling rain in the morning about 9, the rest of the day was dry, but the Air moist: A very full Fair to day at LLanfechell but very little buying : pd. 1s. for Apples & Nuts for my people at Allsaints Eve.
26th.  The Wind S.E. calm & warm,but cloudy & dark all day, and a dirty mizling rain most part of the morning, but the Evening indifferent dry, & the Night fair & light· Set up the house over the Orange Tree.
27th.  The Wind S.E. & by S. very calm & warm, but cloudy & dark all the morning with some little rain about noon, made some Sun shine in the Evening & continued dry, but rained very hard about 8 at night My People to day begun the new ditch at the South Side of Cae'r Iarlles ( the other Sides of it being finished last year ) and they plant it all about with two rows of Crab & Hawthorn sets, & at proper distances there are Elm, Ash, & the gret Maple or Sycamore – planted all about it: gave Jenny Hughes of Siamber Wen [there is a line above 'en' sw] 14s. for sowing work here these 2 months ·
28th.  The Wind S. S. E.  very calm, warm, Sun shiny; fair and – pleasant all day; and made no rain till 8 at night it made a [god sw] good deal.
