July i8th.  The Wind S. blowing high, hot & scorching & very Sultry all day tho the Evening was cloudy yet it made no rain
i9th.  The Wind S. blowing high, Sun shiny till 5 in the Evening when it grew overcast & made a small Shower, but all ye day was very hot & Sultry .
20th.  The Wind N. very calm, Sun shiny. hot and sultry all this day likewise.
2ist.  The Wind S. very calm, Sun shiny & extream hot & sultry all this day: about 2 this Evening I set out for Bodorgan in my way to Mr. Bodvell's burying which is toomorrow.
22d.  The Wind S. calm, Sun Shiny very hot & Sultry all this day likewise: about ii this morning I set out with Mr. Meyrick for Carnarvan (where the Hearse with Mr. Bodvell's Corps - was ) to accompany the Corps to LLandwrog: The Company dined at Carnarvan, and about i they proceeded along with ye hearse to LLandwrog where about 3 the body was buryed: The bearers were Sr. John Wynn, Mr. Meyrick, Mr. Thomas of Coed Allen,Dr. LLoyd the Dean of Bangor, Mr. Ellis of Gwynfryn & My Self; I gave ye Priest that officiated 5s. & after the burying I returned with Mr. Meyrick to Bodorgan.
23d.  The Wind N. & little of it, Sun Shiny hot & very sultry all this day likewise, I staid at Bodorgan this day.

The Wind S.S.W. dark , cloudy weather for the most part this day;yet very hot & Sultry all day: about 6 this Evening I took my leave of the family and came to Siamber wen this night: I gave amongst the servants at Bodorgan 6s.

25th.  The Wind W. & little of it, & generally cloudy, yet was hot & Sultry this day also; Set out from Siamber wen about ii, and called with our Parson at Treban where I dined & from thence came home – muchtired, but without any accident blessed be God for it: I gave the servants at Siamber wen 2s.
26th.  The Wind W. & little of it, dark & cloudy, yet very sultry this day also, yet continued dry all day
