28th. The Wind W. S. W. Sun shiny fair &warm in the morning & very calm, it blew fresh & cold in the Evening, was cloudy & overcast & made a sharp shower at the fall of night. Paid Thomas Prichd.s bill being i7s. 4d. |
29th. The Wind S. calm & cloudy dark weather & raining exceeding hard about 2 in the morning accompanyed with Thunder & lighting and made frequent showers afterwards dureing the rest of the day; Paid Humphrey Mostyn's bill being 3L. i3s. infull: & pd. likewise Catherine Jones's bill being 2L. i6s. |
30th. The Wind N. blowing pretty fresh in the morning with some little rain but the day in generall was Sun shiny and dry : My people most part of this week were opening wet ditches : Paid Mich: Evans 4L. i8s. for two pieces of Cotton Stuffs he had bought for me in Manchester . |
