May ist.  The Wind S.W. blowing moderate, cloudy and dark and raining hard in the morning till 9; dry from that time till 4 in the Evening, and raining very hard all the rest of the day and all the night; pd. i0s. 6d. for 30 yards course Irish Cloath.
2d.  The Wind E. blowing moderately and raining incessantly all the morning, and Evening except for 2 hours betwixt 2 & 4 in the Evening: The Rivers all out & the meadows under water as in January·
3d.  The Wind E. in the morning, & came about noon to W. but little of it, and continued dry all this day: Sent 8s. to Mr. Wm. Morris to pay the Duty for the Trees &c from Leghorn.
4th.  The Wind S. W. blowing pretty fresh and generally dark and cloudy, yet made little or no rain all this day.
5th.  The Wind S.W. blowing fresh, cloudy & dark weather, & made a great shower of rain in the morning about 8, and another about i0 , and the rest of the day was dry:Paid 6s. 6d. for half a hundred weight of Wheat flower· 
6th.  The Wind W. & by S. blowing very moderate & generally– Sun Shiny, and drying well all this day; Paid Ellen Edward 7s. of her winter's wages, & Pd. 6s. 6d. for two pails,& 6d. given servants that were hired to day at LLanerchymedd Fair which was a very full one, and great demands for Oxen & Cows both lean and fat, but the Sheep were a mere drug & their price very low.
7th.  The Wind in the morning at E. came before noon to N. W. and except a small shower in the morning & another about 5 in the Evening all this day was drying well, and generally Sun Shine.
8th.  The Wind W. & by N. and made showers of rain early in the morning, the rest of the day was sun shiny, fair & drying well.
9th.  The Wind W. blowing moderate, generally Sun shine & drying well all day; Pd. Marged ’chuw Morus 2s. 8s. for a Lamb and a a quarter of Veal.
i0th.  The Wind S.W. blowing moderate, cloudy in the morning & raining very hard about i0; the rest of the day was fair, Sun shiny and dry·
