March 5th.  The Wind S.W. in the morning, came to W. before night. cloudy and dark all day, & a hazy weather with a Mizling rain in the morning, & about 4 in the  – Evening it made heavier rain: The Priest preached on Exod · Chap: 20th. vers· 8.th. An incoherent discourse as usuall.
6th.  The Wind S. blowing fresh and cold, cloudy dark weather, with frequent showers of rain in the day, & from 6 till near 10 it rained almost altogether very hard: Paid Owen ab Hugh Prichd. David the Taylor 3s. for makeing me a Coat, & Pd. 1d. for thread –

The Wind E. blowing fresh, cold and raw, and dark, cloudy weather, about sun set it cleared up, the Sky was bright and Serene; and grew calm and much warmer, and the night was clear and starry . 

8th.  The Wind varying all day, from S.W. in the morning,when the Air was thick and cloudy with a mizling rain; about i0 it made and excessive heavy shower which brought the Wind soon after to N. & so to N.E. the Evening was Sun [there is line  like a tick over the 'un' sw] Shiny & fair; I walked in the Evening to Cemaes & from thence to Wylfa, and I can't remember ever to have seen at anytime of the year the ground so thoroughly wet, miry & dirty: Paid id.2/1 for Tobbaco.
9th.  The Wind E. in the morning, cloudy & dark, it came to S. about noon, blew very moderate all day, & continued without any rain, but yet dryed but very little.
i0th.  The Wind S. blowing fresh, dark & cloudy with frequent showers of mizling rain all the morning; but from 2 in the Evening till 9 at night it rained incessantly, & often very hard: Paid Owen Thos. the Smith of Rhosbeirio is. iid. for work done for me; And pd. Cousin Humphrey Mostyn's Bill being 4 pound 4 shillings .
iith.  The Wind S. and blowing moderate, generally cloudy and dark, with frequent short showers of rain, especially in the Evening – To Day I planted the first Cabbage this year .
12th.  The Wind E. S. E. cloudy & dark all day, blowing fresh and very cold all the morning; and raining almost altogether with very little intermission from 3 in the Evening till far in the night.
