December 3d.  The Wind variable, but generally E. freezed pretty hard last night, & a great hoar frost this morning: the Day throughout very calm, Sun-shiny & fair, lent my poor Daughter 5s to give ye Doctor's Wife that came to see ^her^ in this her long & dangerous illness.
4th.  The Wind S.E. cloudy and dark, and very cold raw weather all day: A very poor Market at LLanfechell this day .
5th.  The Wind S.S.E. calm & warm, but generally dark and cloudy all day, made some little rain on the fall of night my people all this week fallowing fresh ground at Brynclyni as before . pd the Constables of LLanfechell 23d. tax to the use of the house of correction at Holy head. pd. 2d. for fish .
6th.  The Wind S.E. very calm, warm & fair, and generally sunshiny all day. No sermon to day, tho one was due.
7th.  The Wind S. S. E. cloudy and dark, and blowing a fresh gale, tho not cold, all day day; made some little rain in the morning about 6, and a great deal from 5 to 7 in ye Evening - 
8th.  The Wind S. E.  in the Morning, & settled N.W. in ye Evening. – cloudy and dark & very cold all day, the Air moist & raw. pd. Hugh Owen of Pen y Bont i8s for half a pegget of wheat.
9th.  The Wind N. W. blowing high & Stormy all day attended with frequent showers of hail; The Market at LLanerchmedd much risen, and abundance of poor going about like the last year.
10th.  The Wind N.N.W. blowing very cold, it settled at N in the Evening & blew excessive cold; pd Shadrach Evans 7s. 10d. for a quarter of Beef at 1d.2/1 a pound. Pd. also to John Robert Simon 8s. for makeing me 2 Coats, 2 Wastcoats, & one Breeches —
