December i0th.  The Wind S. W. calm, yet very cold and raw, cloudy & dark all the morning, but some sun shine in the Evening & dry all day: Paid Rhŷs Bentir2s.6d. for a side of mutton, & pd. Mary Wms. the Dairy Maid iL. 9s. in full of her win –ter's wages.
iith.  The Wind S. W. blowing very fresh & cold all day, cloudy & dark, but continued still without raining: My people all this week were fallowing the fresh ground at Brynclynni, & I – had 4 people paveing the Cow house yard & a Cart carrying stones from the hay fîelds to supply them.
i2th.  The Wind S.S.E. blowing moderate, cloudy &dark & very cold - all day, yet it continued without raining.
13th.  The Wind S.W. calm, dark & cloudy & very cold, yet made no rain all this day also·
i4th.  The Wind W. blowing moderate, and a good deal of Sun shine this day & dry altogether: pd. my Sister 2iL. in part of money I owe her by Note .
i5th.  The Wind S. in the morning, & blowing very high & stormy all day came to S.W. & settled at last in the W. when it rained & hailed – very hard a great part of the night, yet the storm was very little – abated: Pd. John Ifan 3L. 3s. of this year's wages that ends February next; and Pd. Mr. Rice Price i9s. 6d. for fruit, spice &c bought. of him to day.
i6th.  The Wind N. E. blowing fresh & very cold,attended with frequent showers of heavy sleet and hail all the morning; the Evening was more moderate, but rained hard in the night·
i7th.  The Wind S. W. blowing fresh and raining frequently & often veryhard most part of the day: pd. Rhys Bentir 2s. id. for a Side of Mutton: paid for– things had to Anna Wright's use i3s. Pd. Owen Roberts iL. is. in full of the remainder of his Sumer's [there is a curlicue over the 'm' sw] wages.
i8th.  The Wind S. W. blowing fresh & cold with frequent showers of hea –vy rain most part of the day : Accounted with John Prichd. Ambrose, & his labouring work came to 7s. i0d. above his Rent, which I paid him ·
i9th.  The Wind S. W. blowing fresh, cloudy & dark weather for the most part and raining frequently morning & Evening: The Priest– preached on i: Cor· chap: ii - [this short line is actually cup-shaped sw] and the 23d. 24th. & 25th. verses·
