December 20th.  The Wind S. W. blowing very high and stormy all the morning and a great part of the Evening with very heavy rain for the most part: To Day was landed at Cemaes the Corps of my Grandson who died at Leghorn and was sent over from thence to Dublin, & brought from Dublin to Holy head in the Pacquet Boat & from Holy head to Cemaes in a — trading Vessell that came for Corn;it was the request of his Mother to have him brought hither to be buryed amongsther Ancestors: accordingly he was sent for this day & carryed to LLanfechell and buryed in the lower part of my Seat inye Chancell close by the wall : I gave Anna Wright his Sister i0s. 6d. to give the Priest & 2s. 6d. to give the Sexton & gave the Master of ye Vessell i0s. 6d. for Carrying it from Holy head to Cemaes .

22d.  The Wind E. & by S. very calm, Sun shiny clear, fair and dry all day; and a very thick hoar frost this morning.
23d.  The Wind E. & by S. very calm, Sun shiny fair & serene all this also and a very great hoar frost this morning: As I had not corn sufficient winnowed (there being no wind this 2 days) to share to the poor, I chose to give the poor of LLanfechell & LLanbadrick money in lieu there –of, and shared among them 4 pound 4 shillings together with a dole of flesh, & what corn there was was shared among the — poor of other parishes.
24th.  The Wind E. very calm, Sun shiny fair & serene, but a very great hoar frost this morning likewise: pd. Mrs. Wms. the Mantua maker i2s. for working for Anna wright; & gave Anna Wright 9s. 6d. to go to a Christening at Cefn Côch : pd. Wm. Huw's wages for last Sumer [there is a curlicue over the 'm' sw] being 38s. in full: Pd. Wm. ’Bevan the Butcher 3s. 2d. for poor meat for my Servants haveîng kept too little for them out of what was kill'd for the holy days . paid is. [1/- sw] to Rhŷs Bentir for 2 Neats Toungs·
25th.  The Wind E. blowing moderate, Sun shiny , fair & clear with a thick___ hoar frost on the ground this morning likewise with a pretty thick frost haveing freezed a little every night these 3 nights, and it looks now as if it was set for frost, for it freezes slowly all thisday out of the sun's shining about i20 persons communicated in LLanfechell Church to day·
